Bum Bum Baooo

Next Spot: Bao Little House! At least that's the name of their online presence. When you arrive to your destination you'll see "Bao House" - same place, same great taste! Great selections of "pots", about 10 to satisfy your little taste buds. Aside from pots, they also sell milk tea at their station - but that I did not get to try. Very spacious when you walk in and we did not have to wait on a Friday early afternoon. GREAT for lunch and a pick me up, other than that the portions are quite small. Enough to fill you up for lunch and be hungry in time for dinner. I can't imagine coming here for dinner and being satisfied.

Now for the food itself! I got the Thai spice pot (not sure of the name) and boy was it SPICY, but spicy tolerance is at two hot Cheetos right now :P I did enjoy everything in the pot - chicken, seafood, and all the veggies. They have a little sauce bar where they have about 6-8 different sauces you can mix and match with garlic, onions, and more. Definitely a great idea as you can adjust your level of spicy if you'd like.

Now the exciting part - the pictures!

Just Wing It: SmokeEaters

Today's meal of the day is....wings! I went to SmokeEaters today in San Jose and for two people, we may have ordered a tad too much. We got the 25 piece, 15 Honey BBQ & 10 Fiery Garlic. We literally winged the flavor, Fiery Garlic, as neither of us had tried this flavor before! They also have a promotion where if you text Hellfire to their mobile number you get a free side of french fries. Along with all of that, there was a side of jalapeno poppers!

Below are the BBQ wings, which I HIGHLY recommend IF you can't eat spicy food, like me. Yes everyone, I can NOT eat spicy or hot stuff, sadly. BBQ, just sweet and tangy!

These are the Fiery Garlic, which according to my friend is spice but it take better as left over wings.

And of course, we all know how fries look like!

And here is our end result. Some leftover wings and poppers! Eventually the skin got sickening so I pulled the skin off and ate all the meat, but other than that it was quite delicious! I have to say though, the poppers aren't the same as before. They use to be bigger and a lot crispier.

Until tomorrow !
